FHCU
Children with disabilities in Uganda face daily barriers to education, healthcare, and especially social inclusion. They are often ostracised and these challenges made harder by poverty, limited resources and access to the limited resources.
From the interactions with the families, each parent and family struggles in their own way to handle these challenges on their own, amidst so much stigma. Our approach is that nobody should struggle alone, that these families can be brought together to collectively have one voice and can speak for their children.
Changing Lives, One Family at a Time
FHCU is working to support families and empower children with special needs in Bukiro Sub County, Mbarara District, and Masindi areasUganda.
"We're grateful to support families in need and give vulnerable children a fighting chance to thrive."
— Steven & Elisabeth, FHCU Founders
